Stowe Hollow - Stowe, Vermont

Stowe Hollow is an area within Stowe that is one of the favored locations for single family homes.  It is characterized by homes ranging from ranches, to capes, to contemporary.  Most homes have at least 3-5 acres of land.  The Stowe Hollow area gradually elevates up the Worcester Mountain Range which gives many properties views towards Mt. Mansfield and Trapp Family Lodge.  Also, it is located so that there are several ways in and out for access to Stowe Village or lower Stowe Village or right into Waterbury Center.  Most of the homes are occupied by primary residents with a healthy mix of vacation home owners.

Also, most properties are not involved with home owner associations.  Most roads are maintained by the Town of Stowe.  Covenants are usually minimal.  There are no businesses in Stowe Hollow - except those allowed as home occupations.

Stowe Hollow is also known for The Pinnacle Hiking Trail System and Emily's Bridge which is reported to be haunted.

My family and I have lived in Stowe Hollow since 1997.  For us, it is a great area to live in.  The school bus used to bring my boys home from school everyday.  The boys are older now and drive to their various events.  Throughout the years, I have taken many photos in the Stowe Hollow area.  Below is a slideshow I put together to help you get a feel for the area.  Maybe you would enjoy living here too!
